Why We Need You
How can volunteers from the UK support our children and youth?
Volunteers from the UK can play a powerful role as mentors*, offering guidance, motivation, and life skills to our children and young people. Your time—whether through online sessions or in-person visits—helps expand their world, build confidence, and inspire them to dream bigger.
Even one hour a week can transform a child’s future.
Why do we need volunteers in Odisha to teach computer skills and English?
Many of our youth come from under-resourced communities and lack access to digital literacy and communication training.
*Volunteers in Odisha help bridge this gap by providing hands-on learning in computers, spoken English, and basic employability skills.*
Your support directly improves their confidence and job readiness.
What kind of commitment is required from volunteers?
We welcome volunteers who can offer *consistent and meaningful time*, whether a few hours a week or a flexible monthly schedule.
UK mentors can join online mentoring sessions, while Odisha volunteers can support teaching at our education centre or soon-to-launch mobile education van.
We tailor the experience to your availability and interests.
Do I need teaching experience or technical skills to volunteer?
Web development refers to the work involved in building and developing a site for the web. The scope of work depends on the size of the website being built, and can be as simple as a landing page or as complex.
